i have some house plants in my dorm and i thought no big deal to steal some dirt from my mom’s garden before i left to plant them. in one of my pots i noticed holes in my plant, and i thought nothing of it til i saw a pillbug all the way up on my plant eating the leaves. i couldnt believe it. other than finding little pillbug hunters to clean up my pots do you know of any other way to get rid of them?

I have always thought the pill bug was harmless and left them alone. However, the other night I was hunting down cutworms with a flashlight, and on the brick flower bed edgeing was a pill bug attached to the edge of a green bean leaf and eating away. The edge of the leaf was eaten away.

It is not the slugs… it really is the Isopods.. I have watched them devour my new babies.. SO unimpressed…

Thanks for the article. I was doing a bunch of yard work today and have been finding a ton of these. Glad to know I do not have much to worry about.
