I can grow eggplants and tomatoes aplenty, but the blasted borers keep me from producing my own squash. Over the years as my own garden has grown from an experiment to an obsession, the farmers at the market on Saturdays have noticed that I don't buy what I used to, but I still have to stock up on their zuchinni.
