Half Moon Bay in N. California had their pumkin festival. The largest pumpkin was over 1,500 pounds. I never did get our pumpkin vine to make a pumpkin, what a pain in the rump that thing was. (I eventually ran over it with the lawnmower so it would stop taunting me.
