Cleveland Botanical Garden’s RIPE! Festival

If you find yourself wondering what to do this coming weekend, then I encourage you to stop on by the RIPE! Festval being held at the Cleveland Botanical Gardens. Lots of fresh and local food plus talks on how you can tap into the local fresh foods here in Cleveland.

Oh, yeah, and I will be there too! Stop by my talk on Sunday the 25th at 12:00pm. I will be talking about Heirloom Tomatoes (what else!) and will be passing out samples for all to try.

Talk On Vertical Gardening @ Hudson Garden Club

Come join me at the Hudson Garden Club tomorrow night for a talk about Vertical Gardening: Growing UP In The Garden. Learn about the different ways you can incorporate vertical gardening into your garden and how it can make your garden RISE above the rest.

Arrive at 7PM for social time with fellow gardeners and the talk will begin at 7:30PM.

RIPE! Festival – It is what you want to do next weekend

My darn camera broke, which makes it hard to take pictures for tomato reviews. I am hoping to fix the issue this week, so be patient.

In the meantime, start planning for your weekend (9/24-9/26)! And plan to attend the RIPE! Festival in University Circle.

I will be there (no autographs please) Saturday night giving a talk about heirloom tomatoes that have a story, but there is lots and lots of other things happening at the festival as well.

Eating good and local food is not hard to buy or grow, and you will learn just how easy it is here. So pack the kids, pack the car and get your booty on down there.
